I downloaded vuescan and tested it on my own computer before I posted the instructions for you to follow. It works fine on my PC. So you need to install Wine. No problem. Follow these directions. Code: Select all sudo apt-get install wine. I wouldn't have thought about installing wine. You're right, it would be nice if they gave you some indication that installing wine was a necesssity. In many cases it is very helpful to restart the device in order to be able to fix some errors or problems.
